Offering the very finest in porcelain figurines, Lladro has boutiques located in some of the most exclusive shopping districts throughout the world. Now the company has chosen an entrance matting solution from Howe Green that befits its high class status and will safely protect against dangerous and costly customer slips.
Lladro’s boutiques are designed as modern spaces where decoration and lighting entice the public to enter and view an exclusive selection of hand-crafted pieces. As part of the refurbishment of its London and Barcelona boutiques and its new boutique in Moscow, the company required quality entrance mats. These were required to maintain the stores elegant appearance while providing a practical solution against dirt and water being brought into the boutique’s on customers’ shoes.
To match the strict aesthetic criteria, the chain carefully selected the Metro – VA range from Howe Green.
Utilising a unique vinyl abrasive insert, with a coarse, granular texture on the surface and edges, the product offers unbeatable anti-slip properties that also create a stylish finish to any room.
Metro – VA matting is available in three colours (Flat Black, Ocean Grey and Safety Yellow – for extra hazard warning), and is particularly effective for interior areas like Lladro’s boutiques where slip resistance is critical.
The aluminium sections linking each matting insert can be anodised in a variety of colours, to complement the room design, and use a recycled LDPE hinge that is resistant to ultraviolet light and temperature change. This protects the mats from possible environmental damage.
For inspired designs, the product is factory cut and shaped to create flexible solutions for clients. With a total thickness of 9.5mm, the system can be fitted into an existing matwell or surface mounted.
