FLOOR SHOWEDGE IS TIP OF THE ICEBERG

Floor Showedge is tip of the iceberg

Sophisticated new manufacturing techniques have been introduced by Howe Green to fabricate floor access covers. Like icebergs, more than 90% of the technology lies hidden beneath the floor. Because the covers are designed to meet many different performance and aesthetic requirements, they are the preferred choice for public and heavy traffic areas, such as shopping centres. In this recent superstore installation, the covers were specified because they lie perfectly flush with the floor, eliminate tripping and resist heavy point loads. The covers, maintenance-free and resistant to the ingress of water and cleaning liquids, can be readily opened when required. International manufacturers Howe Green fabricate covers with over 50% in stainless steel to ensure they are permanently resistant to corrosion and reinforced to make them more rigid during installation and stronger for the concrete infill and floorcovering. Slimmer showedges and discreet securing/lifting points are the only parts visible when the covers are closed.
